Blossom season is coming and I am so excited!!! I love love love the blossoms and all of the bright and beautiful images that come from them. I wish they were around year around, but then maybe they wouldn’t be as wonderful and exciting if they were always here! Last year was my first time shooting in the blossoms and It was just magical and I can’t wait to share that again with everyone, especially after all of my growing and learning with photography over the last year! Blossom season is typically the last week of February and the first couple of weeks of March. Be sure to read all the way to the end to learn how to book your mini session!
I’ve been going crazy on pinterest pinning lots of inspo for y’all! Check out my pinterest board here! I always love soft colors in the blossoms. They just oooze sweet and soft to me. But last year I saw a local photographer (can’t remember who it was, but if it was you tell me and I’ll link it!) who had a couple who showed up for blossoms photos wearing all black, looking super edgy and the contrast was amazing!! I think a family could do this too with wearing black buffalo check or black floral patterns like this. Or going super edgy and wearing leather jackets and awesome heels! Last year I just grabbed a bunch of stuff that were pastel colors in our closets and we ran out to the orchard to have my mom snap some pics for us. This year I think I’m going to be nabbing either a tulle skirt or lace dress and going a little fancier with our clothes. These are the colors/images that I like to hang up in my house since they work better with my decor than the deeper colors that tend to happen in the fall.
I’m hosting blossom minis on Saturday February 23rd in the afternoon. You can go over to my calendly here and select the time you’d like and I’ll send over a contract and welcome guide! I’d love to capture your family and little ones in the beautiful blossoms this year!
