“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.”
― Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden
Photographing in flowers and blossoms are some of my favorite sessions and they disappear so quickly! I was so excited to find a field of white wild flowers for this family session and Khloe seemed to enjoy it just as much as me! I basically want to be Khloe when I grow up. She was adorable with her long curly hair and her enthusiasm for taking pictures. We can’t forget baby Ella who was about to turn one! She was quiet and calmly observed everything around her, just like my littlest guy.
You know what makes a family fun to photograph? When they just enjoy each other and play. I love to give prompts for games and ways they can connect with each other, but they have to buy into having fun together and being real. They let me see them as they really are, which is when I get images like this whole dang session.
We played, we twirled, we snuggled, we danced, we walked, we explored. It felt so good all the way through and I’m so grateful they trusted me to capture their family and that sweet baby turning one year old.
Here’s what mom Kaitlyn had to say about her session:
“Our experience with Madison as our family photographer was beyond our expectations! We were hesitant to book a session with a photographer we were unfamiliar with, especially since we didn’t know how our little ones would behave during the session. Madison made us feel comfortable from the minute we met her! She made a special effort to connect with our 4 year old daughter, and our daughter didn’t want to stop taking pictures because she was having so much fun with Madison! Madison was patient, kind, and most importantly: fun! We ended up purchasing the entire collection of images because we couldn’t narrow down our favorites! We love every single picture!”
Thank you Vargas family!! I had so much fun capturing your love!
