Fresno Newborn Photographer: What to expect at your Fresh 48 or in home Newborn Session

Each baby is different. I may rock, or sway with your baby, rub his eyebrows, use a white noise machine, etc. I want to make sure the energy in the room is always relaxed and calm, with lots of trust. They will occasionally cry- please know that this never bothers me and I expect it. It’s hard figuring out a body when you just got one a short time ago! I will use a variety of soothing techniques to make your baby feel safe, secure and warm. Baby will never be placed in an unsafe position and newborn safety is my top priority.

I have a very hands on approach to newborns and I am very comfortable handling them. I have three young children myself! This session is supposed to be a special experience for you and I don't want you stressed if the baby starts to cry. We have plenty of time allowed for your session. If we need to take a break to feed, walk, rock, etc. we can do that.

Ultimately, I want you to enjoy this experience as much as I enjoy capturing it. Let me give you the gift of being in the moment with each other, and show you what that love looks like for your family.

Fresno Mini Photos: Splash Pad

A couple weeks ago, I hosted some Splash Pad minis. I had a set of cousins I chased all around the splash pad and playground at Todd Beamer Park. I love capturing kids in their element and a splash pad and playground is about as "kid element" as it gets. This time is so fleeting! I love being able to freeze this time for parents, and I hope when they look back on these images, they remember the sound of their kid's squeals and shouts of joy while running around having fun.

Mini Photos: Mommy and Me, Alexis

I wanted to do mommy and me mini sessions for Mother's day because I think it's so important for mom to get in the picture with her babies. I know I love the images from my childhood where my mom is in the picture with me and I wanted to be able to provide that to other moms. Alexis and her children were my first ones and they were adorable. Full of energy and ready to get all snuggled up!

Family Photos: The Scott Family

I've known this family since I was maybe 13 years old when I started babysitting the oldest boy. They continued adding to their clan and I kept playing and watching them. They are all incredibly athletic and hard workers. I am so glad I got to capture a little bit of who they are right now. The oldest left shortly after we took these pictures for basic training. Mom just posted that he graduated the other weekend! So proud of him and all his hard work! Also, isn't Lindsey's hair to die for???
